Debra “Deb” Ann Hoffland, 70, of Viroqua passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Mayo Hospital in La Crosse with family by her side.
She was born on February 13, 1955, to Dale and Ethel (Beckman) Sennes. She married Robert “Bob” Hoffland on October 6, 1973.
Deb lived a straightforward life, never needing much more than a good project to work on and people to feed. If there was a quilt to stitch, a craft to tinker with, or a batch of cookies to get in the oven for the grandkids, she was in her element.
She enjoyed simple pleasures: a few hours at the casino on the slots or playing bingo, a good day in the garden, and the constant company of her dog, Barney, who never left her side.
She spent many years working at the Viroqua Telephone Company and later finished her career at Village Market Floral Shop, where her love of crafting and creating found a natural home.
She didn’t seek attention, but she left her mark in the most meaningful ways - through the meals she cooked, the quilts she made, the flowers she arranged, and the quiet love she showed in all the small, everyday moments.
Deb is survived by her children, Scott (Hollie) Hoffland and Kim (Moe) Seifi; two grandsons, Dalton and Brooks Hoffland; and brother Dale (Lori) Sennes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU care team at Mayo Hospital in La Crosse.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11 AM-1 PM at Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services. A luncheon immediately following at Scott and Hollie’s. A private family burial to take place at a later date in the Viroqua Cemetery.
Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services is serving the family.
